What to Expect
Thank you for choosing St. Francis Animal Hospital to be the doctors for your pets!
Current COVID-19 Protocol:
In an ongoing effort to protect our team and our clients, we are limiting the number of people in the building to allow for social distancing.
- Clients with scheduled appointments will be escorted directly to their exam room by a team member.  If preferred, drop-off visits or curbside visits are still available.
- We ask that clients remain in their designated exam rooms.
- Clients without a scheduled appointment, or with a same-day visit will be asked to either drop off their pet or remain curbside.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed warmly and we’ll accompany you to an exam room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if necessary.

This is a great time to ask questions. It is very important to us to reiterate that you take as much time with the doctor as needed, as our team wants to make sure you’re completely confident and understand the information provided.

Our veterinary technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful information and answer questions for you. Our front desk staff will process your payment, update any changes to the account, and schedule any needed follow up.

We are so excited to meet you and your animal family members!

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected may create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
