If our office is closed and your pet is experiencing a critical emergency please contact Augusta Animal Emergency at (706) 733-7458. 
For patients stable for transport or for the speciality hospitals  please contact the University of Georgia Veterinary Emergency Service at (706) 542-3221 or South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care at (803) 561-0015.
We are open at 7:00am Monday - Friday to accept drop off patients for boarding, surgeries, and other procedures.

What to Expect
Thank you for choosing St. Francis Animal Hospital to be the doctors for your pets!
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed warmly and we’ll accompany you to an exam room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if necessary.
This is a great time to ask questions. It is very important to us to reiterate that you take as much time with the doctor as needed, as our team wants to make sure you’re completely confident and understand the information provided.
Our veterinary technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful information and answer questions for you. Our front desk staff will process your payment, update any changes to the account, and schedule any needed follow up.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected may create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
